I am in favor. The NHL is allowed to spend a certain percentage over and must become compliant before the start of the season. It is the same case here with 3.5M/2.5M. Dont change a thing.

I see that the cap has been reworked. What was the trouble that you had to correct? Also, do you have a calculation of how teams were corrected? I would like to see how teams gained, or lost, cap space.

I would like to see how teams gained, or lost, cap space. There were two issues that I uncovered. Teams were getting double dipped where a player who was retained for 100k was costing the team 100k and hitting their books for their regular salary as well. The other issue had to do with guys who were waived and when picked up by another team, their cost to waive was being picked up by the new team as well.

This entire cap discrpency has been a nightmare and I hope moving forward the kinks will be ironed out. Not know how much you have to spend during this FA process has been annoying.

I don't think it's been a big deal at all. If you take the time to figure your own cap numbers instead of going with what's displayed, you should have been fine. I know my cap numbers for next season now and so should everyone else. Do your accounting fellas, why wait and be in a situation to run out of money and be surprised about it. I see a few teams that could be in pretty serious trouble with their cap situation and quite a way from roster requirements.

There is a salary cap tab which displays all of the teams current cap statuses. is that what you were looking for or something else?

Just a quick question, I have 2 players in the on books/no card section...Jared Knight and Greg McKegg. It shows both their cap hits as 487,500, but since they were junior players I chose to retain for 100k. Was just wondering if this is just visual and my cap is correct with both of them hitting the books as 100k retainments. Also If you chose not to do the 100k retainments until contracts are done that's fine too, just curious.
