Each round will only last 24 hours at which point all bids will be posted Table showing when the rounds will open and close: Begins | Ends | Min Bid | Tue | Wed | $8M | Wed | Thr | $6M | Thr | Fri | $4.5M | Fri | Sat | $3M | Sat | Sun | $1.5M | Sun | Mon | $1M | Mon | Tue | $600k | Tue | Wed | $300k | Wed | Thr | $100k | |
The last round (100k minimum) will be repeated until all teams have at least 45 players, and no more than 50 players, signed. Also, please remember that each franchise is required to carry 5 goalies. No more, no less. One additional note, in order to close the loophole of signing guys to huge 1 year contracts, and player that is signed to a 6M or over contract must be signed for a minimum of 2 years. The penalty for dropping a player after 1 year will also be 50% of the yearly contract amount. This means if you sign 26 year old potential flash in the pan for 9M you have to give him at least a 2 year contract. If you waive him after 1 year, the cost to waive him will be 4.5M.Also, one last note, teams available cap still reflect the 3.5M temporary increase.

There should be a 100k at the bottom as well. The 100k round gets repeated until the end of UFA

Why not? This is the first year that a wide range of AHL players have been released and this gives teams a chance to grab the best of them at the 300k plus range. You can wait until 100k if you want. No one is forced to bid in this round.

So much for lets talk about things. Fuck it lets just do it. Seriously? Having a 300k bidding round is a big change? Please reply to this thread if you care one way or another and include whether we should have a 300k round or not. Scott votes no and I vote yes. Winning number decides it. So fuck it, lets just have a vote.
