OK, the 3.5 Salary Cap temporary bump has been removed. The compliance page now shows true cap numbers as we start the signings phase.
I will be working on getting the site updated to allow for the completion of contracts today and I will post something, and send an email blast out when this is ready.
One quick note for the teams that are currently over the cap especially those that are substantially over. While cap savings can be made by signing guys to longer term contracts I would urge you to use this as a tool to shape your cap and not as a crutch. This means that even though you could offer a 38 year old player who you bid 5M on a 5 year contract and thus reducing his, and your teams total, cap hit by 500k, this will only cause the franchise more problems down the road as this player's salary will need to be eaten when he retires (This might be true for everyone but a Jagr). You would be better served by working a trade to remove him from your roster.

I will handle the finalization. No submit tab/button to hit.

One other note, the drop downs all default to 1 year contracts. Make sure for your minor league guys (under 500k), that you select Minor league from the drop down box. That is unless you want to, or must, give them a pro contract.

Can someone please for the love of everything holy show me how the math for a 2 year 600k contract works out to 585,001. What in the hell is that 001? Where did it come from? Please make it go away!!!
On every calculator in the world, 600 x .975 = .585 (no 001)
