Hopefully these improved unis will make their way to Colorado. Shorter sleeves be damned, they help us shed the elbow pads faster.   |

I need to put my two cents in here .... Colorado has great looking unis but isn't your team name the pioneers what does a wash cap eagle have to do with a pioneer ?

The homesteaders and pioneers built this country and it took balls to come out into the middle of nowhere and start from scratch. Pioneers are a huge part of the American spirit and history. My train of thought: Pioneers are American, and an Eagle is no more American than it gets.
DU are the Pioneers and their logo is also an Eagle (even though it looks like a turkey), so its not a stretch.
And thats BC's logo, not the Capitals. I'm not sure if its BC's hockey logo though.

Damn.. Pink? That's rough. When I look at them I see maroon. To me, the color in yours actually looks very similar haha, just a couple shades darker. I like my jerseys though, although not very creative because it was just my school's logo minus the gold (that's actually grey). It works though because I have plenty of "Halifax" clothes laying around from college haha. Even have 2 pairs of shorts with Hamilton's logo that I found in some random sports store, Dane hates me for it. Some guys here have the most random logos but if I ever saw them on shorts/shirt I'd probably have to buy them, I'm building an FHL wardrobe.

Don't get me wrong - love the Husky logo itself. Very badass and intimidating.
The pink I'm talking about is only the stripe around the collar and the line that runs under/over the cream/beige bands. Fully agree that the main uni is maroon.
