Ok, can we get clarification.... I recall way back in season one this issue was brought to lite....here goes... A player is on a minor league contract ( ex: Ryan Garbutt ). I have him burried in my Minor's. Suddenly I have an injury, and call the kid up for a cup of Joe ( coffee, for you youngsters ). He stays up with the big boys for a few games, I dunno, maybe 11. I would then be forced to pay him a Pro Contract, Correct? On the other hand, what if I do not give Ryan Garbutt a Pro Contract before this season starts. What are my options??? Do I just leave him in minors until necessary? Can I do this? Do I just give him his 100 + 50% raise? Give him a pro contract after I call him up? DO I give him a 500k contract at whatever term I like? Can I do that? Personally, I believe that if Ryan Garbutt is used for 10 or more FHL games, he should be "immediately" forced onto a Pro Contract ( 500k or more ). If you do not want a player on a pro contract from your minors, that keep that player from playing 10 or more FHL games. This is done by rotating your minors into your lineup, if the need arises. It forces you to be a GM and manage your stable, it also forces you to have a backup plan ( if you sign low fort players cheaply, you'll need a back up ) and a future plan ( using Draft picks or signings ).

Kinda beating a dead horse here Chris, already brought this up and the rule was put in place. If you use him, he has to signed next season or released.

So, the rule allows me to use Garbutt this season while still on a minor's contract? He is due a 50% raise, which will bring him up to 340k. That's great for me, but I don't like it...not one bit.
