Sorry Glenn, think we might be on separate pages. Everything on my roster looks perfect now (Fleury and DeSmith were the only concerns but are where they should be now) Both marchenko and tryamkin played overseas. Wasnt sure if their cap hits are hitting the books or not since they haven't been acted on yet (dropping/retaining for 100k) Although I'm not exactly up against the CAP, I too am interested in this clarification. It looks like Glenn has confirmed what I suspected - All the players in the 'on the books / no card' block ARE INDEED CURRENTLY counting against the team CAP.

Just curious Glenn, I have Pheonix Copley as an RFA, and he is currently counting ( 900K ) against my books without a card. He actually does have a card.
All this talk about "Not having a card" is throwing me off...
So, my question is, Is there a glitch/computer issue with linking some of the players that are listed as "On Books/No Card" that will eventually be fixed to put them on our rosters in the correct manner? Or, are you under the impression that these players are legitimately "On Books/No Card"?
I'm somewhat confused here with this thread

Not a glitch as much as a bi product of a player (especially a drafted one) possibly having 2 different IDs (one from the AHL and one from the NHL). There is a process to link these together but it is not always 100% accurate because part of this linking involves matching the name as well as the birthdate from both the NHL site and AHL sites. On occasion one of these will be wrong (usually the AHL site) and this causes players not to be linked as they should.
That is why players show in this area. If you have a guy showing here and he has a card place it in the APB thread for me to re3view and fix.
Another step to catch these involves me sending a list to scotty of all of the missing players (Pros contracts only not AHL guys) and he looks each guy up to see why there is no card (or to report there should be one for the player). This is used primarily to determine possible actions for these guys (retain contract, eat it, waive with and without penalty).

Just went to look at the draftable players and noted that Haydn Fleury is still showing as draftable. Just wanted to make note here since he shows accurately on my team page in terms of contract year and such but still shows draftable on the GHL player card page.

Thanks for pointing this out Chris. I am just working on getting these players excluded now and bringing the draft/central scouting pages up.

Most likely around 7/7. Will communicate more when firmed up.
Also the central scouting page helps in drafting quite a bit.

I am not 100% certain but I think our Pisano friends have internet over there now as well.
