Asking prices have been added for all players meaning UFAs and RFAs both show their asking price. Remember, for RFAs you get the 75% discount but asking prices for the UFAs come with no such benefit. I will have to dig the thread up but I believe there might even be a 10% surcharge on top of their asking price which is not currently factored in.
Goalies asking prices will be coming a little later as I need to get Scotty a file to do some research for us before these can be added in.
I will be looking to finalize the draft start time within the next couple of days as well.
I did hear from Bob Hoy and he has confirmed he is coming back and will take the Chicago franchise. He knows he doesn't have much in the cubbards but he does have about 65 Large to make a big splash in the free agency market.
Edmonton still officially open as Scotty talks to one of his work buddies regarding assuming ownership.
Stay tuned.

I will get him up and running this week hopefully. I need to know his dues for this year, not sure where Edmonton falls. I will PayPal you to cover him because he's gonna give me cold hard cash

Text message sent with details Scotty. Thanks.
Also, for everyone, please alert anyone you know IRL who has yet to make a test draft pick. I know you guys understand the process but the test picks serves 2 purposes.
1) Make sure the newer guys understand the mechanics 2) Make sure everyone knows draft is close and they are aware and ready to go.
There are 12 teams that need to make their test pick as of 11:22 today.
Thanks, Glenn

If no owner takes over the beavers I’ll gladly run them again as I did in the past

Maybe I'm losing it, but I don't see asking prices showing up...which is weird because someone PM'd me this afternoon about a potential deal and already had the asking price for an RFA. Is it just me?

Sorry for the confusion lads. I needed to recreate the forts for all skaters to account for the guys that played both int he AHL and NHL. I recreated the asking prices afterwards but forgot to publish them.

Sean Couturier. $10.2. Ouch! His card is incredible! Top forward on the market Plus he was the GHL leading scorer with 111 points and he's a 3 time Cup winner! Brings a lot to the locker room.

With all the asking prices out, thought maybe a quick reminder of the RFA rule was in order. I know this process was questioned in previous years. According to the rule book, RFA I's only get the 25% discount if someone bids on them. If no bids are received, they get only the 10% discount. Is this decision on how these players will be calculated or are we sticking to the 25% discount of asking price or highest bid?

Also what’s the term you can sign a retained UFA for? Contract savings will play a huge role in the decision couturier 6 years 8.925 mil is a lot different than 3 years 9.69 mil

It should be 6, but I'm pretty sure Glenn said 3 max. In the NHL, teams can re-sign their own UFA for 8 years max but if the player goes to open market, any of the other 30 teams can only sign for 7. We should go 6 for the team using FP and 5 for everyone else. Get rid of the other rule we have been using with the one year cap. Just my opinion. That way you have to spend the FP to get the 12.5% discount and everyone else that goes to open market gets 5 years and 10% max.
