Links to TS particulars can be found in the league links section here. gtgfhl.proboards.com/index.cgi?action=display&board=leaguelinks&thread=99&page=1#454I hope you can make it, if not, you can send in ant comments that you would like brought up at the meeting. I will be sending this same message out via email as well for those who may not check this board with great frequency. Also I am looking for a volunteer from someone who could attend to take some notes. Don't be shy. Glenn

We need to make a list and have a comittment for next year, as to who wishes to be an owner 100% ect.
Then right after the playoffs, we need to advertise and try to fill out the league for the draft and next season...

I appoint GM Payes as league officer in charge of ownership expansion.

Nice try boyce !
I plugged the league on 2-3 different websites this season.
We ALL need to pitch in and get the franchises spoken for. First, we need to see how many we are going to lose after this season - The Monctons, Buffalos, Ottawas......see if those owners wanna come back or fold the tent.

First, we need to see how many we are going to lose after this season - The Monctons, Buffalos, Ottawas......see if those owners wanna come back or fold the tent. I've said this before and I will say it again. We can't be so quick to correlate lack of posts on the board here with lack of interest in the league. I know Alex from Buffalo in real life and even though he doesn't post a lot on here, he has been very active with his squad. The better indicator are the teams who have big holes in their lineups for extended periods of time.

Ottawa then.....and Montreal. Mike Lomardi.....oh...the shame..... I know Mike spends a lot of his time coaching CV during the high school hockey season. He also had some tough luck with the injuries to both NHL goaltenders.

We understand that some can't spend as much time as others but some also put no effort into their teams at all, so I second the commitment recommendation. It would be nice to see more than four or five active owners. I think we have the potential to be the best fantasy league out there with some more participation.

here here, I second the GM from New York's comments! To further the points being made, I would add:
1-It is not enough to Draft a team 2-It is not enough to Set a Line-Up on the first week of the season and just let it roll for the entire season 3-It is not enough to post a "Player Available" post on the message board and then never answer replies for that player 4-It is not enough to be a silent GM any longer
We need members to have more of a committment. It really doesnt take much to check ones email/message board once a day, or at least once a week. Seriously, it isnt rocket science...IT IS A LOVE! If you Love Hockey, then you should be able to do all of the above without becoming an Obsessive Compulsive like myself ( although it does make it easier ).
Now, I am NOT saying that the fellas we already have as members CANT change, and become more committed. I think that those fellas need to be addressed properly and make that committment...if not, they should politely depart....of course we can discuss it on TS, but I am certain those fellas wont be there to either defend themselves or to state any concerns...so it seems it will be the likely sorts who will be discussing.
Just my opinion, and I think it is one we all share....we all want the best for the league and I believe we do have the best fantasy league in the world...just need to get the word out to a few more die-hards...I have posted on a few sites ( OutsideThe Garden.com, my Poker message board, and to friends ) and will do so again....As a matter of fact, I discovered the league on HockeyBuzz.com but believe it or not, I have not checked that site at all this year! Maybe someone who has a subscription there can post up once again...I dont have one there.
PS...I have new hours at work once again, dont know my hours of work until 2pm the day before each shift...so dont know if I can attend Tuesdays TS Mtg yet...will def try to tho....

Playoffs then free agent acquisition....then the draft.
VERY exciting stuff !
I personally, would love to be a brand new guy in this league and take on an exisiting team and start to cut, trade and draft it into a personal vision.

Unfortunately, I have a business dinner tomorrow night so I will either miss the TS meeting entirely or will be late.
