Round 5 posted, round 6 open Glenn, the base bid tab is blank for round 6 If you signed a player for $1 million then you’d only have $2,037,500 to sign 23 player to get up to 45. You don’t have the cap space to sign anybody this round.

Round 5 posted, round 6 open Glenn, the base bid tab is blank for round 6 Do you already have a few players you are bidding on - in the bid 'box', because there is a feature that turns off your bidding if you are maxing out

I understand what Glenn did reducing the Cap overage from 3 mil to 1.5 mil so guys aren’t screwed when it comes to the cap and signing players but what does Hershey do like u said .... I’m guessing wait till the end of everything and Glenn puts two 100k players on his team my advice to other owners is know how to manage your cap and do the math on contracts

We need to be 'protected from ourselves' lol
Yeah, the big man will just tack on a 100K player or 2, after signing long terms gives back a little CAP

Easy to fix and not entirely his fault or Glenn's. The code for keeping track of the CAP and everything it touches has got to be one of the more difficult sections to write/administer.

I will have a look Owen. You may be running into the code that also keeps you from bidding 1M on a player and then not having 100k left to fill out your roster to the 45 player minimum at 100k each. If you need 20 or so players, which I am thinking you do, It wont let you bid until the 600k minimum round and with that it would only be 1 or 2 bids max. The majority of yours are going to be the 100k players to flesh out the team.
It looks like you have 21 rostered players. If you bid 1M on a player in this round that would leave you 2M (with the current cap raise of 1.5M) to get 23 players. Since the player minimum is 100k that would be 2.3M. That is why you aren't able to bid in this round.

Just a quick question, and a thought that goes with it...
Why is it that we don't have a lower priced level after this last $1 Mil one?
I would think that we would drop down to a lower level after the last one, just like we've been doing for each of the preceding levels. I know I'm not overpaying for any of the goalies left. Not a chance I'm giving them a Million each for the 3 I need. I'd like to choose my goalies, rather than Glenn assign some randoms. I don't recall what we've done in the past.
I'd like to think, if we did have a few lower levels it would help curve the over spending of UFA's, like we constantly see. At least, I'd like to THINK it would help somewhat.
