May I ask real quick how the years active points work? I used the franchise history page to come up with this so its not infallible but just a reference. 0 years - 12 points Montreal (Open/Mike?) 0 years - 17 points Chicago (Open) 1 years - 15 points Edmonton (Nathan) 2 years - 20 points Alaska (Scott) (+1 for first year adirondack?) 4 years - 25 points Johnston (Alan) 5 years - 17 points Calgary (Garner) 6 years - 17 points Washington (Mike) 6 years - 20 points Pittsburgh (Lance) 6 years - 17 points Seattle (Jon) Though I feel like I was in the league a year before lance and Mike, but its not showing on the franchise history page 7 years - 17 points Milwaukee (Eric) 8 years - 22 points Hartford (Jed) 1+8 years - 22 points (Brenden) 10? years - 25 points Moncton (Owen) 11 years - 27 points Adirondack (Joe) 12 years - 25 points St Paul (Justin) 12 total league years - 30 points NJ, NY, Philly, Corn, Mich, Bal, Bos, Suf, Syr, Tor, Que, Her, Ham, Hal, Col, Cle, Cin

5 year minimum points applied. Guys who left and came back were picked up as if they hadn't left. I believe a factor of 2.5 pts per year is applied.

FP banks didn't come through one year, those points disappeared. What is the purpose of an FP bank? Where is said bank? Can said bank account be viewed by managers?

I guess I'm still confused as to why the italicized guys are showing as different then. both open teams are showing different accumulation of points. Am I missing the others being in the league at some other point or is my math off somewhere?

If memory serves, in the distant past we had a bank where only a certain percentage of points carried over from year to year. I think we moved away from that 9 or 10 years ago and all unspent points carry over from one year to the next.

If you can point to a 1 or 2 examples I can review. The process is really just incrementing a spreadsheet I have by 1 for the teams if they were here last year and back this year. I generally will roll forward vacant teams so they can continue to earn FPs and be a more attractive team for a new potential owner. Once a new owner steps in, the 5 year minim would be applied.
