Get the Fuck outta here with this Bullshit!
Marc Joannette, and all these other Refs with +3, -1, +Homer shit in the playoffs!!!
The refs with nearly NO FAV in either direction should be officiating these games.
7 PP's to 1 in a Home Game for Suffolk and +1 Homer Ref Joannette!!! Bullshit! Get this clown the fuck outta here. He killed me during the regular season too!

Even in my series against Syr, Nurse and Tkachuk had 28 and 20 pins, both received 10 min misconduct’s and Tkachuk a suspension…Nurse is a 5 pen…Syracuse had Cole-6 and Xekhaj-8….Cole got 2 mins and Xekhaj zero!

interesting...
Tkachuk gets injured for 6 days...the call was a Konecny (Phanthom Call) Game and Match Penalty...Konecny's 1 Game Suspension gets rescinded to Zero games.
Sucks to get injuries...especially in the Playoffs...especially against the best team in the league. Not gonna be easy to come back from all of these injuries. Sucks even more when you have ridiculous refs officiating Semi-Finals!
I love the fact that I have guys giving it their all...But when you have a guy like Hintz having Fighting Majors...Wow! Interesting to say the least.

Our guy is going to miss 2 Playoff games because of an infraction caused by their player...that player should at least get one game suspension. It's playoffs, not regular season.

I know your blowing off steam and yet still semi serious about this but I wanted to let you know that I honestly don’t know whether the refs played a big part of the penalty disparity or if it was bad RNG/team makeup but it did make me laugh a little bit. To be fair I am also very biased against the Tkachuks though and believe they deserve to be beaten for their ridiculous antics on an almost per game basis.
On an unrelated note did anyone know Matthew Tkachuk almost set a record for most penalty minutes in a Stanley cup playoff series last year? (Spoiler: he’s only 2nd with 50 minutes over 4 games, 3 minutes away from the top spot in 2 less games.)

I'm not disagreeing with you about both Tkachuks being pains in the ass...or full of antics. I'm just trying to come at the League (GHL) from a Coach/GM standpoint. To me, it doesn't matter that my guy is a Tkachuk...he's still protected by the same rules as every other guy in the league. He served his time for penalties this season.
I'm not even totally angry honestly. I've been happy with my team this year to get to this point. But, the competitiveness in me doesn't want to give up! Gotta go go go! And, I'm just fighting for my team. As if there's anything that I can really do about it anyway...
Injuries is what you have to worry about when you ice guys with lower fortitudes...I was fortunate to escape injury all season long with both of my goalies being low fortitude. I was prepared to dump my guys if either was hurt long term. Got very fortunate.

...If it's in the NHL... (does anyone else recall this)?
You are right Chris, more needs to be done from a league standpoint regarding. I believe the NHL apologized to Vegas for giving Eakin a 5 min high sticking penalty. One in which the Sharks scored 3 or 4 times in the last 10 minutes of a game 7 that ended up costing Vegas their playoff lives. I, on behalf of the Referees extend an apology to Ian and the rest of the Husky organization, for depriving them of a 40+ goal scorer on a phantom call. The league takes solace in the following facts
1) It did not cost you the game as it did for Vegas 2) It did not occur in a game 7 (which potentially could have cost you the series) 3) We were able to correct this injustice prior to causing anymore angst to Travis.

You see, thats kind of my beef with this whole call. It's implying that Tkachuk faked his injury...But, he's out for two more games! If it was a BS play, he'd be back in the lineup tomorrow.
So, the injury is real. There was a Call on the ice.
If Tkachuk was only out for the remainder of the game, there's no issue from Suffolk regarding it.

Konecny is no saint either, btw. 20 PIM's less than Tkachuk.

Eberle broke Coglianos neck and didn’t miss a game a few years back. Refs suck sometimes.

Eberle broke Coglianos neck and didn’t miss a game a few years back. Refs suck sometimes. that was a horrible injury. Hit was not egregious or malicious, just super awkward since cogliano stays bent over as he gets and then pushes the puck up. I will fight you on this with my dying breath! I know you can’t say the same since I watched your spirit leave your body 15 years ago and am convinced you’re just a non-transparent ghost

Glenn, I just realized something very odd about the Konecny/Tkachuk incident.
1) Tkachuk only played 5:48 of the game...meaning he left the game in the 1st Period. 2) Konecny gets a Game/Match penalty for a Phanthom Call on Tkachuk in the 2nd Period at 4:03.
How can Konecny foul Tkachuk if he's only out of the game? Right, so no suspension...but there's a glitch in the game I guess. Weird No?

Who says he left in the 1st? Looking at minutes played in the series for him, that would line up with roughly the beginning of the second, especially with only one penalty in the first

With the Glenn "likes this" approval mark...I suppose that's the case. Very well.
