Are goalie Fort getting adjusted still? There were a ton of 1 fort goalies the other day now only 3.
Frederick Andersen should be made of glass but don't get his 1 fortitude. He missed 51 games due to injury but was suited up for 31 and played in 16 games. So played in 19.5% of the games and suited up for 37.8% of the games.
Was expecting between 3-4 fortitude 2 at the lowest, so just curious how the 1 was determined. Copley similar situation, missed 56 games played in 8 and was a 1 as well.
Players seem to make sense. Dach missed 79 games and a 1 fortitude, Arvidsson missed 64 games and a 2 fort, Nieto missed 60 games and a 3 fort, Sergachev missed 48 games and a 4 fort.

My logs show the same, Dane, so I'd say this needs to be addressed. I reported 51 games missed. That number determines fortitude, which I would expect to be around a 3. The 16 games played determines stamina. I don't believe bench games count in any way toward either of these ratings

As in real life, NHL goalie calculations for fortitude and stamina are the odd-birds of the our card creation process.
For these odd birds, fort is determined by how many games a player missed due to injury/illness. As these players play more and more their chance of being injured, and the injury being of a long term variety increase. This is what the Fortitude ratings will reflect.
The other thing that impacts goalie fortituide is unlike skaters who can play in 82 games a year, an NHL starting goalie uses a much lower figure as playing all the games as even the biggest workhorses in between the pipes, last year Jusse Saros, only played 64 games. That was the high water mark for NHL goalies last year.
Stamina is impacted by the number of games a goalie plays and limits the effectiveness of a goalie if over worked and not injured.
I will review the calculations used to generate the values and post here.

Is there an update on this? Missed 51 games due to injury 62% of games but a 1 fortitude makes it seem like he lost 90+% of his season to injury. He played in 20% of total games for Hurricanes as well which makes sense stamina wise, just Fort seems off for him.

Any update on this?
I don't care if he's staying a 1 I just want to know how calculated for the future. I'd hate to trade for a Goalie with 31 NHL starts but gets a 1 fort due to missing 51 games.

After review, I have upped his cards fortitude to 4. He is a legit starting goaltender and I believe this is the best way to handle his unique injury situation given his time on the shelf last year.
