The Ottawa Spartans are proving they are a pretty good team when healthy. Tonight's 4-1 victory over a tough Cornwall team extended the Spartans winning streak to three games and has leap frogged them out the basement of the Wales conference and into 12th place. Expectations around Ottawa were low when management couldn't be secured in the off season but if the league run team could make a push toward the playoffs, they could become an attractive purchase for potential management investors.
The Spartans key to success will be staying healthy, the club has a total of 89 man games missed due to injury this season, but are currently running a full roster with the exception of Marek Svatos, who is expected to be out of the line-up until mid February with post concussion syndrome.
