Glenn, there seems to have been a slight ( MAJOR ) problem with the game Engine for the Suffolk-Johnstown game tonight.
Elaboration:
1- Suffolk: 0 for 7 on the PP
How does 7 PP's equate to ONLY :29 Seconds of PPTOI ? Understandable, IF Suffolk took minor penallties which cancelled out of Power Plays, But that did not happen.
2- Johnstown: 2 for 4 on PP
They had several Players on their Roster with OVER 22:00 mins of PPTOI !!!! Impossible.....I only had 12 Minutes in Penalties Total. Es un Problemo, Si?
3- Corey Perry 1st Period Synapsis: Corey Perry issued a 2 Minute Minor for at 2:49. NO PP Goal Scored during this Penalty.
Yet, Corey Perry gets another 2 minute minor at 3:17 for Unsportsmanlike Conduct. I have a slight problem with this one...Although NO PP Goal was scored against either...This IS possible, if receiving a Penalty from the Penalty Box--I suppose...but RARE.
But, in any case....Suffolk ONLY had 11 minutes of even strength hockey.....and 48 minutes of Short Handed Ice time.......
But, the Penalty Minutes in the game do not equate to this.
RE-DO!!!!!!
In looking over the Boxscores, the Suffolk and Johnstown matchup is the only game to have had this problem....

^^^ I agree...that's one helluva'n odd box score ya got there.
Interesting if it's just a number glitch, or if the engine DID play Johnstown on the PP all that time.

Grabner's goal was a PP carry over from the first period, and Stoll's short handed goal came on Blum's holding the stick penalty at 1203 of the first period. The shorthanded goal came with four seconds left on your PP.

Yes, indeed it looks like the engine shit the bed on this one. I will need to review the logs to try to determine what caused the issue and to determine if indeed the team really played short that long or the stats were just incorrectly aggregated as short handed even though Suffolk wasn't short handed on the ice. If it looks like the team was shorthanded incorrectly for that large period of time, i will remove that game from the records and replay it.
