Looks like Gibson played, and lost for me tonight. Reimer is set to 100% and I'm guessing is blue. Why is that? Kind of sucks I'm going to lose a game with a goalie I didn't even put in.

You're guessing? Are you sure you set Reimer to 100% after Stalock's injury?

Ah, I see you didn't bother to call up a goalie after the injury, allowing the SIM to do so for you, and this might have caused a glitch, starting the goalie called up for you to fill out your roster, which was incomplete, instead of the goalie that you had set to start.

I'm not guessing that he was set to 100%, I'm guessing he was blue - either way he was good enough to play. I don't care if the sim calls up a backup goalie for me, if Reimer was set at 100% he should have been the one playing.. Not the randomly chosen backup.

But you should have also filled your roster. And I understood what you were guessing about, just surprised you didn't know for sure. By not filling your roster, I think you left the goaltending to chance because of the way the sim works when filling empty spots. I agree that Reimer probably should have played regardless but I'm betting that by not filling the empty goaltending spot, it threw a monkey wrench in the system, so to speak.

There have been plenty of teams that didn't have a full bench of 5 players, I don't think I do right now. Random people aren't inserted into the lineup because of that, why would goalies be any different? Also would have been good to know this before, I didn't fill out the extra goalie spot because I didn't think it mattered. Reimer was set to 100%, he should have played. Simple as that.

The last time you had Gibson up he was set to play at 100%. You sent him down but his percentage stays what it was when he was sent down. If/when you call him back up you will see that he is still set at 100%. The sim called the best player up to fill an open roster slot that you hadn't filled. Reimer was set to 100 and so was Gibson meaning there was a 50/50 shot for each to play.

Replacement players (not random) are always inserted into the lineup if you don't have a rostered slot filled. What do you mean random players don't get inserted into the lineup? This has always been the case from day one.
