When does Jim have to decide by? Tonight at 8? The default decision is to retain, correct?

Was just reviewing the rule book... It states that after the RFA bidding is complete, owners will review any players who did not receive bids and decide whether to keep them at 90% of asking price or release them to free agency. Is this correct? And if so, do RFA I get retained at 75%? For some reason I was thinking that the discount is only applied if the player received a bid...

Scott, I believe what was settled on was 75% of a bid or 90% of asking price whichever was higher. Also, if a player doesn't receive any bids, the match price is 90% no matter if he is a RFA I, II, or III.

Ok, thank you, I didn't think we received the discount if the player didn't receive a bid, got it.

It's the calm before the storm. Or, in this case, the calm before the sharks arrive.

Apologies again boys but the bid announcements may be a little late tonight again. The wife and I have some dinner plans with another couple. These shouldn't be posted too late though.
