I thought he was LTIR but played tonight. If he wasn't LTIR Montreal has 6 goalies.
Was this a glitch due to markstrom being hurt and engine pulling in price to play?

I specified that I wanted him LTIR'd and he was not dressed in either my GHL or minor league lineup. Not sure how else I should have handled that....

I had done that. Markstrom was 100 for that game.

Hmmmm. Very odd indeed. When I check I don't see Price being LTIR'd on your team page and I thought I had gotten everyone when I processed these. Once I place him on LTIR he should drop completely from the lineup (meaning you wont see him in the up/down/unassigned section at all). I will add him tonight.
If you have a goalie up with 0% played, it will being another goalie up and determine randomly who to play.
I will make sure he gets added to LTIR tonight when I get home from work.

The engine should at least choose only a goalie from the bigs regardless of %.
This incident is exactly what should happen = even though Mike had only one goalie in 'the bigs', the engine should have selected him no matter what his percentage. As long as there is 1 goalie dressed 'in the bigs', then the engine should always select him on the default.
I foresee this happening again and am surprised that it took this long for someone to report it.

No, you need to dress (and the engine requires) 2 goalies before a game can begin. It is incumbent upon the owners to make sure they replace guys who get hurt and set percentages accordingly. If not done, then you reap what you sow.
Mike's case is special in that he is not at fault for Price playing in the last game. I must have missed his post or entered a wrong digit when attempting to place Price on LTIR. However even if Price was on the LTIR and not available, the call up would have had a 50-50 shot of playing because the lineup was not adjusted to reflect his other goalie going down to injury.

Maybe it was Phil's post in the LTIR thread telling me to play him that threw things off. Haha
