I'm doing a little research in the goalie department and I noticed that Thomas Greiss of Adirondack is not on the sortable list. I don't know if he's the only one missing, but he's the first I noticed. I also don't know if there's a reason he's missing or not either. If I find any more I'll let you know.

Jeff Drouin-Deslauriers is listed under UFA, but according to Baltimore's team page he should be under contract with them for another year.

Greiss isn't here because he played in Sweden all of last year. Therefore there is no card for him.

I will need to see why he is showing up as a UFA. Also, I noted on here that the pro stats isn't working as it should. I will investigate that as well.

Wrongly Categorized (where they are and where they should be) Erik Ersberg (UFA; Cornwall) Mike McKenna (Hamilton; UFA)
I also have a question as to a player currently under contract that played in the KHL last season. Case in point: Vesa Toskala. He currently has 2 more years at $475K per year remaining on his contract with New England. Does his contract get wiped out?
Another one is Alexander Salak. Syracuse had him signed for four more years $495K. He played in Europe last season, but recently signed with the Blackhawks. Can Syracuse retain his rights (even if he has no player card) or will he be available to all next season?

Yeah...I noticed the Greiss one was missing b/c of him playing in Europe last year after looking at similar circumstances (ie. Nabokov). Keep up the good fight, Glenn!

Owners who have players that didn't play in the NHL or AHL last year can either: 1) choose this player as the player they are allowed to waive (normal waiving fees are applied) 2) pay the man his money even though he doesn't have a card 3) If the player played overseas or was injured (didn't retire), they can pay a 100k yearly fee to retain his rights for if/when he comes back.

Drouin-Deslauriers was known as Jeff Deslauriers last year. Maybe that has something to do with it. I'm wouldn't be too upset if he is left out there as a UFA.

Scott Clemmensen is also Awol! He should be an RFA, as Suffolk had him on a one year deal when acquired, along with Jay McKee.

I think that, as a general rule of thumb, all owners should be responsible to properly check their teams to see if players on last year's roster are properly being tabled.

I am sure that when I get a chance to review the query that is pulling these guys, fixing it for one will fix it for all.
