When I first started playing organized hockey I was 15 and playing in the local men's league after our first skating rink went up. Looking back on it now, this was 1977 and the majority of the league were made up of guys who drank beer on the couch and watched the Flyers pound teams game in and game out. The league pretty much mirrored that with no game misconducts for fighting just 5 minutes in he box. The first season we had 3 bench clearing brawls. The second season my Dad came on board as the teams coach and although he had little or no experience playing or really even watching the game, he immersed himself in books to learn drills and the game itself to do the job. At his funeral we had about 8 of those guys (40 years later) attend in their jerseys as a tribute. He was that kind of man.

Bingo. Yes, for those who are hunting Jim-Quebec, he is seated front and center. A very rare occurrence to snap a shot of this reclusive gentleman in the wild.
