Another regular season in the book boys. That makes it 8 for those who are counting. A hearty thanks to all of you guys because you guys are what make this league what it is.
Even though we didn't have the drama the last few weeks with any playoff races that needed to be settled we have some good playoff matches to look forward to. Some of the highlights that jump out for me:
1) Boston owning the regular season like a boss and looking to add their 3rd championship. Well done Chris.
2) Montreal having a very strong season to continue their upward trend in the league. Cracking the 50 win plateau in the process. Good work Mike.
3) Cleveland drawing Cincinnati in the 1st round again. This year it's a 2-7 matchup instead of the 1-8 it was last year. Last season, Cleveland roared back from a 3-0 series deficit to tie the series at 3 and had control of game 7 until Marchand took a selfish major penalty allowing the Swords to score 3 goals on the PP and win the game, and the series, 4-3.
4) Power rankings 1 and 2 matching up in the first round (New York/New Jersey) in an across the street series.
Good luck to all of the playoff teams. Playoff schedule should be loaded at some point today.

I was going to point out the same, potential 2nd round match up if NY can find a way to get out of the first round this year for a change...

Gonna point out that Detroit and Colorado both broke 100 points for the first time. Really good year for the Pioneers, thanks to Ben Bishop.
