Congratulations to Brian and his Cleveland Barons. An absolutely clinical Conference Finals sweep en route to your third consecutive finals appears. Hats off to you! I think there's only two teams in the Prince of Wales Conference that have the fire power and depth to topple you--and Cleveland handled both of those teams in rounds 1 and 2 of these playoffs.
Good luck the rest of the way!

Thanks, Matt! I expected the first three games to be tighter. You controlled Game 4 and I expected you to pull off the victory. I told Glenn that I usually have one great period a game and luckily that’s when it happened.
Congrats on winning your division and good luck with your offseason!

I figured I would piggy back on this thread to add to the accolades heaped on Cleveland earlier in this years playoffs. Congratulation Brian on an further cementing the Baron's legacy as the hands-down class of the GHL. 4 contemporary cups in total and 3 in a row leaves no doubt that you hold the place as the leagues only modern dynasty. As I said after the game in chat last night, I knew going in you had the better team in every aspect of the game and that many breaks had to go my way to get a 3-1 lead so when you won game 5 in OT, I sensed it very well could end the way it did. Before the game started last night I said that I hope the 7th game (win or lose) wouldn't be a blowout and that it would be a fitting end to an exciting series and that it was. OK, on to next year. I double dog dare you to make it a quad-peat!

Congratulations. And to Glenn, maybe the greatest game 7 in league history.

Congrats to Brian on this season and surely on putting together a dynasty franchise. If the dynasty tag was not already applied to Cleveland prior to this season, a successful 3rd straight cup run added to a previous championship, without a doubt, cements the legacy

Thanks guys! I really wanted to write this great post detailing everything, but instead you're stuck with this.
I think it goes without saying that I need to thank Glenn. First, for creating/maintaining/improving the league/game. Without you none of this would be possible. Every season I feel like there's a little tweak that just improves the enjoyment of the game. The biggest for me was the GHLDVR. I'm not sure how many people have really checked it out, but I'm pretty sure I watched most of the games this postseason. The doubleheader feature this year was a nice bonus. If possible a game of the week or something could be fun for owners that haven't had the opportunity to have a game on there.
The GHLDVR is a nice segue to me congratulating Glenn and the Philadelphia Pharaohs on a great season! Watching every game in the Finals with him was fantastic. There were so many black cats, jinxes, and Flyers to count. In all honesty, I thought I was cooked going down 3-1 in the series and I was ready to lose. If anybody deserved a Championship it's definitely Glenn. Long story short it went 7 and all it took was one bounce. Once the 3rd period rolled around I was holding my breath on every shot (no posts that game!). With all of the power plays I got, and couldn't capitalize on, I just knew that Philly would pull it off. Then, in OT, Philly got a power play and I just knew that it would end like it did Game 3.
Again, I'd like to tip my hat off to Glenn for his season, and for all of the seasons that he has given us. Off of the top of my head I can't think of a more historical end in a GHL Finals series. 4 games went into overtime with Game 7 going into double. So, if anybody else is like me right now with a beer in hand...here's to Glenn on the Pharaohs run, to the first 10 seasons of the GHL, and to (at least) the next 10! Now let's see some cards! Cheers!!!
