I think your elementary math teachers were biased about teaching you simple arithmitic. I count 10 on the Bars.
Also, this might help asplain the issue as well...

10 penalties but one was offsetting so results were 9 times shorthanded. That is very high. As the matter of fact is 4th most in the league and he's only played one game. I thought the Amerks averaging 5 per game was high over the first two games but we've also had 4 PP chances per game so it's averaging out this far.

He stated penalties not PPs.

Does the coding create a correlation between low stamina and a higher likelihood of taking penalties as a player's time on ice accumulates (or during longer shifts due to icing or the long 2nd period change)? Hershey's got a 3rd line with staminas of 3, 3, and 2, and a 4th line with 3s all across.

Hershey's got a 3rd line with staminas of 3, 3, and 2, and a 4th line with 3s all across. They are more likely to have low scores when compared against other players they are playing against but I don't believe it affects chance to take penalties. Although perhaps in retrospect it should...

The way I see it, it's already calculated in. Each player is given a penalty rating based on how often they take penalties in real life which factors in their likelihood to take penalties when tired...as well as their likelihood to take penalties in any other game situation, hence the results of the player card.
