Glenn, when you finally get off your lazy butt and begin to finally commit time to this league... Would you be able to look into: D-Will Borgen's "Pro Stats" link on the team home page. When clicked, it brings me to "404 Not Found" error code. That is, when you finally take some time for US!!!

Ya! The Krakens minor leaguers matter damnit. This is obviously biased against Seattle…and I guess Suffolk incidentally.

Whenever the sportscaster site updated its formatting a month or so back they went to a new naming/numbering convention. When I took a look at it it wasn't too difficult to see what they did and I updated the website code to look in the new spot. Now for a few guys, the convention wasn't followed for some reason or the new value was entered in incorrectly (by the sporstcaster folks). We will see if others arise like this to determine the pattern and if one can be determined, the fix to handle these. Until then, you can find him here: sportsforecaster.com/nhl/p/517094

Was looking through some stat stuff in my spare time. Would it be any easier to switch from sportscaster to something like hockey reference given the fact they populate additional stats we use, such as hits/blocks/etc? Or would that just create a host of other issues? Particularly with them using numerous tables to identify stats, not having individual game stats, etc? I would think by now we’d be able to find a site, that once the setup was complete, would help you save time in the long run by not having to find and pull additional stats from different places at the end of a year for card creation and rookie identification along with having AHL stats and whatever else.

The key identifier is the ID that we use that is housed on sportscaster. That's why we are kind of tied to that platform to more easily associate a player with a GHL team.

Thats understandable, I’m not the coding genius you are so I am not sure if it was easy enough or even possible to do something like switch over to another platform. I know the initial switch would likely be quite a process so I’m not gunna push the issue but if there is something we can find to streamline the process (and possibly get additional relevant stats or even AHL stats???) I’d go for it. TL;DR I want to see how many hits Will Borgen lays in Charlotte off our own stats page because….uh….why not. It’s only a ton of work that Glenn would have to do.
