Lane Pederson's salary last season was 337,500. It's saying his salary for this upcoming season is 600,000, which is roughly a 78% increase instead of the normal 50% increase (which would be about 507,000). Not that nearly 100k is going to make a difference to me this season, but I am curious as to why this is. Can someone please shed some light on this?

500k is the maximum salary for a minor league player. 150% of his current salary is $506,250 which rises above the minor league maximum which means in order to retain his services without others bidding on him, you need to offer him a GHL contract (600k minimum).

Thanks Glenn! I figured it was something like that, but wasn't sure.
