Using the 2 top forward lines for powerplay and the 3 and 4 lines for penality kills, while not perfect, is a decent approximate and a good stop gap until actually pp and pk input can be accomodated
but
What defensemen are chosen for pp and pk? This is important to know inorder to "rank" defensemen 1 thu 6....

This is important to know inorder to "rank" defensemen 1 thu 6.... Good question. If your team is on the PP or PK, the engine will attempt to use either one of your top 2 defensive pairing unless they are fatigued. Because a PP or PK will usually last 2 minutes, both pairings would see ice time in each of these situations. Glenn
