I think it will be fairly even, even more so if Sal would be able to use Lupul since injuries are off...Vanek - Crosby - Lupul would have been a deadly line

Care to make a wager on that Phil? I would love to bet you F-points but I have none to put up. Plus I don't know if Glenn would even allow betting of such things. However how's $20 grab you? I'm sure you could pry a jackson loose from those social security checks you get each month. It's funny you should bring that up Sal. I was thinking of allowing each team to wage a certain percentage of their FPs (with odds of course) in the playoffs this year. This would further encourage participation even for those teams that are not in the dance. I'll bet 100% of my 2014 FP that I will be hitting the links come playoffs.

The question is how you will fare in the scorecard. I'm brutal at golf.

But, I think it should be a nice game regardless.

I thought there MAY be a chance of Sal being gracious and modest with his win and...I was on drugs apparently. Vicodin. Seriously.
Anyhoo..quick points before we move on:
I will still try to investigate the 'curse' and so far if it stands, Halifax won't win the cup BUT it doesn't necessarily mean THB will win - watching that part closely.
I'll pay for your next years league entrance -I don't want to be on the hook for anything re to you and what if you contract Hep C and die ? Next year's fee it is.
I still think I would have submitted a different lineup and could have won. You need to recheck the box scores of the TWO times Thunderbay and Cornwall played. The first game at my barn will reveal the worst loss and 'outplay' of the season for you and the second one at your barn will show that all you could manage was a tie - hardly 'beating' me. heh. I love having you in this league Sal, as you are the Darth Vader of the FHL. That USED to be Chris Frey, but he's 2.0 now, and softer and gentler

The curse of the All Star game is REAL Sally.
Halifax lost the all star game and now pays the ultimate price - an early exit.
LORD O' LORD we all wanted it to be Sal.

And Sal, please tell your pocket full of fans that you have more to offer them , then being swept in the finals again this year.
As to your 'eight votes' - all I have to say is 'Glenn tighten up your firewall and forum security because that F'ker has obviously hacked it and voted for himself (again).
Next you'll be telling us you handcrafted your team from hard work and not pillaging newbies and 'trades with friends'.

So you won ONE game in the finals then ? That's actually worse than being swept. Ok, maybe not worse, but still f'ing horrible.
Chicago was/is/and continues to be a juggernaut that is only coached about 35% of the time. It beats a LOT of people.
Concentrate on your series at hand young Sam...Colorado and MR ANDERSON are just about ready to eat your lunch...
AND mash your dinner.

I was one shot away from cashing in on a huge gamble yesterday playing Anderson three time in a row.
I'm confident, but it's likely the series is tied at 2 when Anderson starts again.

Just a reminder that goalies that are green are perfectly fine and the engine will use the stats from the card as is. They are not tired they are just not fresh. A fresh (blue) goalie will get a slight bonus to his stats (a few points at best) but sitting a guy while green, especially in the playoffs IMHO, is not a good return on investment. The case could be made that you would be better served by trying to end the series earlier and giving Andy some time off should you advance to the next round. Coaches are certainly free to handle their lineups as they see fit but I wanted to make sure everyone remembered what a "green" status meant.

Now it gets interesting. Best of three series and I'm pretty sure Anderson has one, maaaaaaybe two green games left.
Interesting how two series are neck in neck on the scoreboard and in the win loss column, while the other two series have been more erratic.
