I noticed in the bidding screen it says my cap is 6.186 mil (with no bids made) but my team page says 7.06 mil. Even with the 2 mil off this is inconsistent so just throwing it out there incase there is something wrong or something that I/others may be missing.

I noticed something with mine as well, although much smaller, 9,974 on the bidding screen, 9,799 on the compliance screen.

legit Q... the difference between available cap on the team page and on the bidding page doesn't equal 2M in my case either. Are we safe to assume the adjusted amount is identical to the one appearing on our team page? Glenn, could you please weigh in?

I am reviewing now however in the interim, use the number showing on your team page/cap compliance page as the true number.

It looks like there was a temporary salary savings table that hadn't been cleared out from last year. This table is used to determine new cap space while the GMs are tinkering with their salaries for their players before they are finalized and I update the actual contract tables. These have been removed and your cap on all pages should be the same now. Please reply on this thread if yours does not.

mine are not. Im showing 5.86 M on my team page and 4.1 on the bid page. Safe to assume 4.1 is what I have available to spend?

Are we not saying the same thing I'm not the problem I'm the solution get the rest of the league on board Unless I misinterpreted the intended audience for your "guys go get yourself an accountant" remark, it implies that those of us who noticed these discrepancies are somehow not doing a good enough job of keeping track of our team finances. What I am saying is that it was by doing that very thing, keeping track of my team's finances, that led to the discovery of this issue. To sum up and answer your question...my point is that you are telling us to do something that we are already doing. |
