While all 31 teams appear to be cap compliant, I went through rosters and noticed the following to be out of compliance...
Hershey - 51 players, 4 goalies St. Paul - 6 goalies Syracuse - 4 goalies

Are there identified consequences for such violations? A quick search shows this as the only discipline that I can find: Milwaukee has been fined 10 FPs for being 1 goalie over league max. These points have not yet been deducted but will be applied within the next few days.

how about the teams that don't set line ups? I was told I would face severe penalty when I did that for ONE GAME at the end of the season a few years ago.
Don't get me wrong I don't mind a cup cake win buy why are certain teams allowed to do this?

The only time not setting lines is an issue is when you send all your top players to the minors. As we seen last year a couple team did well letting the game set lines...

I will have to check the posts but perhaps there is a St Paul goalie that Justin had asked that I put on LTIR for him.
As far as the other 2 teams with infractions I will consult with Stalin and Hirohito to determine an appropriate punishment. Please feel free to add you thoughts to what the punishment should be on this thread as well.

Forfeit their first round pick, must be given to a franchise who’s name begins with a ‘C’. I like my odds.

After seeing that a trade was allowed at the deadline despite originally being submitted to the league out of compliance, it is quite obvious that the rules/ completely out of date rule book, are not being taken seriously. It's actually a mockery in my opinion. Harsh words maybe, probably. Can we PLEASE update the rule book and include penalties for being out of compliance OR a checks and balances system to prevent teams from being out of compliance in the first place since managers seem incapable of policing themselves. Updating of the rule book is vital, especially to new owners, who could easily be misled by the current rule book which is severely lacking in rules which have been added or amended through the years of us building the league into what it's become.

So I assume the teams that are over the cap (about a half dozen when I just when through and checked) will have a FP penalty imposed since the season starts tonight? Are they forced to make a trade to get under the cap or just lose the FP? How many FP?

Are they forced to make a trade to get under the cap or just lose the FP? How many FP? The cap showing on the compliance page does not reflect savings that teams are seeing when they are assigning contract length on the contract length page. Once all have completed their contract work, I will publish the new contracts and the actual cap will be shown.
