Baltimore will be using the waiver with penalty on Devan Dubnyk. Penalty should be 4,175,000 (1,043,750 x 4).
Also cutting Mike Vecchione (drafted player who never played in the GHL)

Guys that are rolling off of their ELC if not acted upon will become UFAs. These guys will have a contract end year of 2020. The step right before FA will include a post listing these players and each owner cutting and pasting to say if they were going to keep them or let them go. This is the same for guys coming off the first part of their bridge as well.

I think they are talking about players who are not at the end of their ELC's. Players that can be dropped at any point during their ELC provided they have not played in the GHL

Which players are on ELCs that I can drop? 1) You can retain any expiring RFA year to year for 100k. 2) Any player that was drafted and is on an entry level contract and has not played any games can be dropped free of charge. |
