Then you'll have to protect them

When will trades open? I believe we only allowed trades with the expansion team prior to the expansion draft. I can't remember.

That's correct. Trade embargo until after expansion draft has been conducted. As Scotty mentioned, teams a free to do business with Oregon though prior to the draft. I know last time the expansion team collected draft assets to agree on which player the expansion team would select.

I think we need to include the resigning of players on minor league deals somewhere before the expansion draft. Along the same lines as extended UFAs, resigned minor leaguers would be eligible for expansion selection unless protected. I think Scotty is right. Because they will still be showing as assets on your team (Unlike the UFA whose contract expired at the end of last season) they can just be selected to be protected. Now we just have to collectively remember how we identified our protected players last time. I don't think I built a web page to do this on the website but I could be wrong. Anyone with a better memory please feel free to chime in.

Would minor leaguers who haven’t had a pro contract before be exempt then? I would think that would cover at least 90% of minor leaguers

No minor leaguer would be exempt. If they are on a teams roster, they would need to be protected or could be chosen.

I know last time the guy I lost was someone on a minor league deal, if we need historical context to back up them being available.

Lineups have been cleared out and reset. Note, your RFAs should be showing as available assets right now. Of course if you don't decide to resign them, they wont be available after this is re-run post RFA process.

Goalies asking prices seem to be a bit low. I am investigating and these will most likely rise.

The draft page has been updated with the picks. This does take the draft lottery into account for round 1. Please review and let me know if you see anything amiss.
I should have the test draft turned on at some point this weekend as well.

Test draft is now up and running. I am asking all teams that have draft picks this year, that havent yet done so, to make at least 1 test pick.

If you haven't done so already, please make a test draft pick. This will make sure that we know who is active and engaged for the upcoming season. If you don't have any draft picks, you won't be prompted to make a test pick.
Thanks, Glenn
