Going to loading up and moving up to camp so will be pretty busy for the next few hours or more. I will keep tabs on the draft and try to select if my pick comes up. I know it's still early out west so just letting everyone know as we're stalled due to the time difference, I'm sure.

He’s 18. Early 2nd round pick in the NHL. Ottawa. And a prospect so doesn’t go against the cap this year which was most important to me. Nothing to lose really. My target went a few picks earlier

I like the Jarventie pick, high ceiling low floor type player in the 4th. Will get a shot, if only a small one due to being a second rounder in the NHL. I think Scott was just excited to see someone finally pick up a guy he himself hadn’t rated. Considering a few of us get super into scouting a ton of guys so we can make the best pick, it can be cool to start seeing where other teams start deviating from your expectations. Or to look back and try to figure out where you’re going wrong or missing on certain types of players. It’s also interesting to see guys pick solely due to them being a guaranteed thing but low ceiling or just swing for the fences with boom or bust guys every pick. Lots of ways to go about it.
All in all it’s just for fun at the end of the day though.
