It's that time of the season again for the league treasurer to make his appointed rounds. With that in mind, league fees are $25 for tenured owners again this year. This is for everyone except Justin-Cincinnati who as the reigning champ has this year’s league dues waived.
As a reminder first year league fees for any new owners are based on how the team they are taking over finished in the regular season last year. Here is the breakdown for any new owners.
Non-Playoff Tier 3 $10 Bottom 4
Non-Playoff Tier 2 $15 5-9 Worst
Non-Playoff Tier 1 $20 10-14 worst
Playoff $25
It is important to note that for the 20+ of you that are already paid for this year (in order to trade draft picks last season) you don't need to do anything. You would only need to re-up if you plan on trading next year’s draft picks (24-25) already. In the case where someone who is paid up for the upcoming season submits their dues, they will be applied to next year’s payment and their draft picks for 24-25 would become available trade assets to them. In order to minimize the chance of this, I will send an email to the ten or so owners who hadn't paid for the upcoming season as of yet.
If you are going to be participating this year, please forward your dues to my Pay Pal account which is gbobb@comcast.net. If you do not want to participate please let me know as early as possible so we can get a new owner lined up. For those who aren't comfortable using PayPal or don't have a Pay Pal account, you can email me at commish@greytowergames.com and I will provide you with my home address to mail a check to.
I would like to have all of the dues collected by July 16th (a little over 2 weeks from now) as I want to have everything sorted out prior to the draft (which will be sometime shortly thereafter. I want to get this completed as early as possible so we can identify available franchises and hopefully fill them prior to the draft.
