If you haven't taken a look already, check out the advanced stats section that is now on the edge.nhl.com site. Perhaps there is might be some information we could make use of in future seasons.

On first blush it looks pretty promising. I didn't see an option to select all goalies or an option to get stats in a more digestible (table/spreadsheet) format as a "saves above expected" rating would be very nice to help card/grade our goalies in the "G".

That’s what we really need…another superstat for goalies. Let’s re-introduce the trap too. |
