FP's for Team Stats

Looking for ways to add FP's to teams, what better way to reward teams than to award FP's for the 3 categories we track?!

The TEAM STATS page tracks Special Teams: Power Play Proficiency, Power Ranking and Penalty Kill Proficiency.

I'm proposing we award 32 Points for 1st Place in any category, then 31 for 2nd, 30 for 3rd, and so on. Every team gets something, and the incentive to earn points is there...actually, even if you're an absentee landlord you're earning FP's.

Is this something we can implement in addition to the other FP awards?

My initial thought is that the more FPs we have in circulation, the less valuable they become.

I would be more inclined to gauge the leagues interest in awarding teams for regular season and playoff excellence additional opportunities to extend an additional UFA and perhaps making these additional rewards a tradable asset. I think we could also discuss modifying how we handle resigning pending UFAs that have been traded where they have to play for a team for the entire year to be eligible to resign (aside from the sign and trade option we have now).

Of course any changes we make would have to be folded in and could not happen prior to the start of next year (meaning this off-season will be handled like previous ones regarding changes).
