With rumors swirling about the Suffolk Stampede HQ's regarding RW/LW Matthew Tkachuk being shopped...I wanted to let you all in on the action.
Yes, it is true, Tkachuk is available now for the right package. Suffolk is in discussion with a few teams, and they are aware I am shopping him to the highest bidder.
Tkachuk is a true GHL/NHL Elite performer! He is not a one-hit wonder. His card has been similarly as good the past few yrs. He is 26 yrs old, on a modest 5.25M contract for two more years (ends 2026). He does it all!!! He plays both wing positions, he scores, he assists, he agitates, he defends decent, he does PK, PP, 1st Line Material...does he take penalties? Hell Yeah!!! He can "Marchand" like Marchand! He can defend teammates. Does it hamper your team....Only if they're a bunch of pansies....His 7 Penalty Rating doesn't keep him from putting up 100 Points per season!!!
