For guys that split time in the NHL and AHL values are generated for both leagues and the card generator will take the higher ratings (after both are nerfed for not playing significant number of games). In looking at his card online it is using his nerfed NHL stats. You can determine this by the pro team name (TBL) associated with the card. For someone who only played 21 games, the generator limits the 100 scores to a maximum of 45. You can see that his Off/Shoot/Shot/Pass were all throttled in this way. He did look good in the playoffs but we don't use playoff games as part of the card generation process. Long story short, yes, his card values are less than I would expect after watching him however we would enter a slippery slope (one I do not wish to tread) if we would arbitrarily decide to increase or decrease a specific players card. I would much rather let the hard numbers generate the cards. That being said, I am guessing he is going to have a killer year and an awesome card next year. When was the 45 limit place for a guy splitting time between NHL and AHL? Just an example of someone similar is Anders Lee (2014-2015 Card) only had 22 games NHL experience with 14 points but still had a very useable 76-42 card, This was obviously nerfed since his .63 ppg in 15:43 would have been at least a low to mid 80. Even your guy Nylander I would argue should have a nerfed but still useable card.

Last year was the first year that the nerfed logic was included in the process. Prior to that the process was glued together and players could be missed.
I agree Nylander would have a better card if we would make arbitrary decisions however just like Drouin, I expect Nylander to earn the card with his performance and games played next year.

On another note, I can place the GP - max value numbers on here for folks to comment on. I would be amenable to hearing discussion as to what the group thinks the max vales should be for games played. Maybe 20 games should be 60? I am open to others thought and can adjust the generator/cards accordingly.

Is it possible to glue the two cards together and not miss guys now? Take a look at Anders Lee in the examples above, it would seem that a guy with those stats NHL/AHL combined is more realistic with the card he was given. I'm not talking a case to case basis, I'm talking encompassing all players in this. With Drouin's stats, he deserves a better card as do player's that tear up the minor's as Lee did while still putting up pretty decent points in a lower amount of games played at the NHL level.

Average everything? Wouldn't an average be accurate?

Question, Chris Phillips didn't play a game this last season due to a back injury, as you can see on his PRO link. Is eligible, with zero games played due to injury, to get his card averaged? He'd be useless fort-wise, just curious.

Philips retired, not sure how this affects his status or card... Also, thought I asked this somewhere but are the players going to get multiple positions assigned?

He'd be useless fort-wise, just curious. No, guys need to have a card (have played one game in the AHL or the NHL) in order to get averaged.

Is the work complete on goalie cards? I think not

Is the work complete on goalie cards? I think not I was working on them last night to get stam/fort/big save/penalty rating updated. The cards still need to be raked to allocate the proper number of points but unless I am mistaken the rest of the card should be good. Is there something you are seeing that looks dubious? If so, let me know so I can review.

Talbot, Montoya, Hellebuyck and even Berube, none of them missed games to injury last season, fortitude should be 10?

IS there an easy place to look up how many games a goalie suited up for? I know Elliott was down for a few weeks late in the season but prior to that he was splitting time with Jake Allen so I just want to check if that has also factored into his fort rating.
