Sorry haven't checked in a couple days aside for bridge contracts which is stated in this thread can I get a TLDR version of any other rule implemented or about to be. Promise I won't start an argument with anything that has likely been argued about for the past 4 days haha.

If I was to place a 15 Million bid on an RFA I, like Mark Stone, the compensation would be 2 1sts, 2 2nds, and 2 3rds. Would they all be 2017 picks or does that also include 2018? I thought they all would be from 2017, which would mean I don't have the picks available to offer that much. It did allow me to make a 15M bid.

As the 2018 picks have not been assigned to the teams yet everyone is assumed to have these so the fact that it left you make the bid is not surprising. I would just verify that it doesn't allow you to bid on 2 15M players.

You can't have two 2017 1sts to use as compensation, all compensatory picks must be original team picks, therefore it would be your 2017 1st, 2018 1st, 2017 2nd, 2018 2nd, etc

I believe the only thing that is pending right now is having drafted guys potentially cause less of a cap hit of their card is based on minor league stats. This is closely joined to the discussion reading whether our current cap is sufficient or needs to be raised.

The ORIGINAL team picks as compensation is a HUGE deal. This way, it prevents teams from have multiple #1 picks BUT trying to use a suckier pick from say, a team like Boston or Cleveland that is SURE to be a high first round next year instead of a pick from Pittsburgh or Toronto. Excellent point.

I cannot make a test bid on anything above 999. However, the setup does not have anything less than 1M. Bump

Phil, try to make a bid for 800K. If we are still in test mode. I cant make any bid above 9ook because I dont have the compensation to pay for it, so I cant test anything...but who the Frig cares about Suffolk anyhow.

Bump Unless you make some trades to get some of your draft picks back you can only bid on Mike Kostka. Go ahead and test it on him. He is the only RFA III out there that has a low enough asking price (compensation pick wise) that you can bid on as you only have your 5th rounder to offer as compensation.

A bid for Kostka worked. I am assuming, that when the later rounds of RFA's arrive, that there will be the option for prices lower than 1 M?
I dont have any plans on bidding on anyone elses rfa's.
