My perdition is that Phil and Owen try to out do each other the blow the hole fucking place up. Franchise points who cares who gets them.

That's quite a 'perdition'. It would need to be a remote detonation however, as neither of us will be in attendance. At least not in any official capacity.

BTW...I'm not lobbying for a roster re-submit or change either....I think the rosters just reflect the best of what the Campbell has to offer and what the Prince of Wales has to offer. Based on what is presented, If Vegas odds makers were to create a line, I believe it would be something along these: Prince of Wales: +3 Campbell: -3 Over/Under: 11.5 My prediction is Campbell-8 POW-3 ( I'm taking Campbell and the under ) Im predicting the POW wins on the strength of their third line. Good thing injuries are turned off or Brock Nelson would be leaving with a broken ankle as a result of getting danced by Carter who no doubt torches him with relative ease at every turn. And any third D pairing featuring Brent Burns is likely to make you wish you stayed home. Stepan's a nice piece with speed to burn but does he even touch the puck with a Crosby/Malkin tandem out there? And with the disparity between POW's OFF and what we have as a third pairing, the POW bottom 6 is about to feast on Campbell. Booking a private 4-hour session with Anthony Robbins for Henrik immediately following the event. I'm saying 8-3 POW with Sid and Carter both netting a pair each. EDIT: Tavares Tarasenko and Kane score for Campbell. Burns, Toffoli, Doughty and Malkin also for POW. Shots on goal: +40 POW, -30 Campbell. Owen, this was my "mistaken" prediction...see the post immediately below my original. I have exactly the same prediction 8-3 POW's going away! I will further my prediction as you did, but I can't....I have a gut feeling POW nets 12 versus the Campbell's 4. A 4th line of Crosby-Malkin-Hansen is scary!!!

Admittedly I am a bit behind on the discussion. In my view it's the prerogative of the owner that earns the chance to pick an All-Star roster to do so as he chooses.

I'm not sure why one comment about a player that won't even see the ice in a meaningless game started such a debate and definitely got under at least one owners skin a little (and not even the owner who selected the team) but it's nice to know I've still got it. The all star game is about the fans in the NHL. In the GHL, we are the owners and fans, so here it's about the two owners who are leading the conference getting thrown an extra little bone and have a little fun by choosing the teams, and to be honest, if we didn't have a little conversation about the teams, what fun would it be. I mean, for fuck sake, I know you're going select Crosby, Kane, Tarasenko, Burns and Karlsson. (err, umm, well, maybe not Karlsson) I want to talk about the players who I didn't expect to see on the team or the ones who I expected to see and got snubbed, isn't that the fun of it?

Outside of shutouts, Bishop has only managed a .96 save % this season once. Way to play up to your card when you've got the best defense the GHL has ever iced. Close game Campbell.

close game. We came close Jim. Hey Phil, Since Jim doesn't check the boards regularly, could you ask him to fill out his roster for tonight? There's no third line right winger listed, and if I happen to win, I'd like it to be fair and square. Thanks.
