Oh Jed, if you want sarcasm...I have plenty...
But, I was not aware that the enhancement for team strength was referencing our teams NHL Stats...Theres too much shit to keep track of whats what, whos who, etc...
All I want, is a friggin Minors League run...but the boss is keeping mum! Hasn't even sighed at the notion...probably because he's gonna surprise me!

The problem with the minor leagues is they really can't be run without a waiver wire being in place. If there is a reward for having a good minor league player there is nothing in place right now that would prevent a GM from demoting all or some of his high end talent to the minors to dominate in a game and then get promoted back to the big club.
Waiver wires may be something for us to implement in the future as it would in theory deter a team from stockpiling NHL players in their minor league systems if the player would go through waivers going down/up.

+1 for waiver wire. Minor system would be hard though considering 90% of players are all 20 - 20

Random but since talking engine changes. I think I've said this before but what are the odds we can have all star game as a 3v3 tournament by division like the NHL. Sick of the Patrick division holding back the Adams.
Just a quick look and I know divisions change but in league history no team from the Patrick has made a finals appearance. Even more disturbing since we switched to divisional brackets in playoffs no Patrick team has made a conference finals in 3 years the last being Chicago in 14-15.

I'm pretty sure every Patrick team has at least one player who can match up in an all star game...save for Chicago. 3 on 3 would be fun. It's definitely a weak division, but you forgot to mention that a Patrick team was the number 1 seed last year in the Wales, so it's not all doom and gloom up here...hell the way it's going, odds are Rasmus Dahlin winds up in the Campbell.
