Unless someone can find an existing thread....here's the start of one.
List your team's prospects that somehow aren't listed on your team's homepage and/or do not have a FHL card or tracking numbers.
Cornwall - Austin Watson

Austin Watson played 72 games in Milwaukee (AHL) and 6 with Nashville in the 2012-13 season...
Jesse Joensuu played 24 games with Assat Pori (SM Liiga) and 7 with the Islanders in the 2012-13 season...
I am assuming that if these were draft picks, they should belong to Cornwall and Detroit respectively in the upcoming FHL season seeing as they will both have cards.

I ran some queries last night to identify the minor league contracted players who played in the bigs last year (and therefore will need to be either let go or signed to a pro deal this year). 35 players in total.
These will be identified on the teams page once the cards are done.

Greg Mckegg and Jared Knight were retained by Hamilton last year, should finally have a card again next year, but since they weren't drafted and just signed to a pro contract I lost a contract year with them playing in juniors correct? If so I believe they are slated to be rfas

Neither McKegg or Knight could have been drafted before 2011, if they were both draft picks, their entry level deals will not expire until 2014 at the earliest

they weren't drafted, I signed them to 750k pro contracts for 2 or 3 years, same as I did for Maroon and Hartikainen...then when they didn't have a card due to playing in juniors did the 100k thing to retain
I was under the impression youd only lose players who went to play juniors overseas etc if they were on minor league deals and didn't have the option to retain

I think we decided to handle these guys just like guys who played in Europe for a year where the owner can retain for 100k or release with no penalty. I will have to do some research as to whether these guys lose the year in eligibility or not though. I will find out then post.

Austin was signed for 250-400K..somewhere in there. Def not 100-150K.
We definitely talked about this last year and decided that we could retain rights for 100K as a prospect. He did not go overseas and did not change NHL teams.

I could be wrong but I was always under the impression that you could never retain a minor league contracted player whether they go to juniors overseas etc. One of the advantages of drafting/signing players to pro contracts.
Glenn will have to confirm, I don't care either way just wondering.
