I've noticed since the last two weeks, that my personal team's stats, Shots on Goal, have seemed to be reigned in. Over my past 8 games or so...I am no longer outshooting opposition by 20-30 shots, and instead the games are very close to the same.
Question 1: Has something been done to reign it in? Or, have the GM's been sneakily conspiring and sharing some sort of Suffolk Shot Snuff Magic?
Question 2: If something has been done to reign it in, it appears to have directly affected Suffolk, but not my opponents. Sounds like I'm making some conspiracy theory accusation....but in actuality, I'm just making an observation and presenting the statistical facts to back it up. All you got to do is look.

Like I said Joe, I don't know if changes have actually been made or not. That's my question.
I've been noticing over the past dozen or so games, that Suffolk has not been outshooting opponents as we were prior. As a matter of fact, Suffolk has been outshot 2 or 3 times over the last few games, an anomaly this season. So, I'm not saying it's impossible...but a rarity this season.
What I'm curious about is, IF there were changes made, why it seems to have affected Suffolk, but not my opponents?
It's as if Suffolk has been operating with an "Engine Governor" regulating our speed/performance.
I'm NOT complaining here..just an observation. I'm still 12-0-3 during last 15 games...it's just that I have noticed my games are A LOT closer in shots for/against during the latest dozen or so. Right around the time of the talk about adjusting things, That's all. I know it seems like I am accusing of foul play...I'm just asking for an explanation (if any is avail).

Scott, were you outshooting opponents by 20-30 shots per game?

Scott, I just gave your team a look over the past 30 games.
It looks like your last 15 games are also tightened up like I've noticed about my team.
But, something else I noticed was, the previous 15 games, when you were outshooting opponents, you were also scoring a lot...A LOT. When I outshoot opponents by 30 shots, I was only winning 5-3, 4-2...you were winning 12-3, 8-0, etc...
That's when I was questioning things. I was playing the easy portion of my schedule, and I even lost a few games. You'll have to go back to the original post to see my points.
Now I'm into the hard part of my schedule down the home stretch. I am planning on a record just over .500 down the stretch. So, congratulations on the winning the Conference. You should have 15 or 17 wins down the stretch.
Unfortunately, the only person that can shed light on the subject matter factually, is awol.

Every adjustment that was made was posted in a thread on the board. It probably would be a good idea for us to have one locked thread (where only I can update it to avoid clutter) and I will start one. If someone wants to do the legwork on changes made this year you can search through all of my posts from I would say 6/1/2022 on (to include any off season changes) via the "Search" button right under the forum banner. This allows you to search by date, by poster and shows you the posts found.
Most of the changes have dealt with the lookup tables to make it less likely for players to get a shot off but if they do, the shpt has a greater chance of not going wide.
As I have stated multiple times prior, any and all changes affect every player exactly the same.
Regarding explaining these in layman's terms, that will only be done via a conference call that would be open for any that wish to attend. I have neither the time nor the inclination based on past experiences to try to post these explanations here as they inevitably have led to more confusion and frustration for all involved parties.

Excellent
Based on Chris's recent interest in this topic, I would expect him to knock this out / post all the changes here to be compiled later in that master thread, in no time.

Despite how bad Suffolk apparently sucks, first team to 100 points! Maybe things aren't so bad after all.

Despite how bad Suffolk apparently sucks, first team to 100 points! Maybe things aren't so bad after all. Ya see, this is what is partly wrong with society… Yes, I had a complaint. Yes, I was winning at the time of complaint. Should nothing be said about a potential issue just because I was winning? Like I said in my complaint, something to this effect: “If I complain when losing, I’m a sore loser. If I complain when winning I’m just a complainer.” Actually, I brought up the issue because whether winning or losing it was pertinent to all of us and therefore an unselfish point. We ALL could benefit from a resolution—-NOT just Suffolk. However, Glenn answered in a roundabout way, by not directly addressing my complaint, but instead saying that if there’s an answer to be found, that someone can go back and find it in the myriad of threads using the search function. Let me ask you Scott…if you felt there was something wrong but you we’re winning, would you say something? Or would it be fine because ole Scotty is getting a reward. Are you in it for Scott? Or do you not care about the others involved?

Chris, I think you misunderstood my reply. I agree that tracking the changes is a reasonable request and I created a place to aggregate and compile the changes. Changes I make moving forward will be updated in this thread by myself. gtgfhl.proboards.com/board/29/simulator-change-logI was suggesting that if someone wanted to do it, they could search my posts using the search button on the ribbon above (this is not something that is technically challenging) and pull out the ones that talked about what the changes were. If they did this, I would add them to the thread discussed above as the new starting point.

Chris understood.
It is strange, almost passive aggressive or perhaps some form of gaslighting, how Chris becomes the victim here, or the people's champion.
I WILL CERTAINLY voice sour grapes /loser status and go on record that there are 10-11 game/losses over the season, that I absolutely should have won.
Chris's latest tirade came on the heels of Cornwall outshooting his squad and a tie. I could also sour grapes the fact that I should have scored 1 or 2 PP goals that game and won - there WOULD have been a Suffolk meltdown if that happened - kicked the family dog, yelled at the kids ect.
As much as I gripe, I find myself back here at the Sim, again and again trying to win. But back to the Tie Suffolk game. I honestly think I can win in a 7 game series. I think so.

But, honestly, my tirade, rant or whatever you want to call it...began before I tied with Cornwall. It was precipitated by the Losses to NJ, Boston and a tie to Boston, etc...I began to suspect something at 12/3/22 and for the following few weeks I took extra notice of disparities. Ironically, Jon-Seattle was also noticing disparities. His, were totally opposite of mine..but nonetheless important to address. When I say disparities, I mean: IMO, oddities in belief and opposed to reality, or anomalies. It DOES NOT mean that I am accusing anyone of cheating. Which is where I think a few people get jammed up in believing and get all defensive.

It took me back some 33-35 pages deep before I got to June 2022. From there, there weren't many posts referencing the subject that could be beneficially used. They were vague because I would have had to find the discussion links to interpret them. So, I got bored and gave up searching.
