First of congratulations to all of the playoff teams for this year. I will be running the code to add the playoff schedule this morning.
In order to generate more attention and excitement around the playoffs, I thought it would be a good idea to significantly increase the amount of franchise points that can be won by GMs participating in the prognostication pools. Because these pools are free to enter, and many times the teams have been out of the playoffs for several months have checked out, it would be a good vehicle to keep everyone engaged even if they were not in the playoffs in a particular year. I would be interested in hearing the group's thoughts on this.
I also was tossing around the idea of holding the monthly meeting on the League Discord channel to allow a forum for open discussions on ways to make the league/sim better. More to come on this soon.

NHL and AHL player data has been harvested for next years cards. I will be working over the next few weeks on running the data through the card generation process.

Game Viewer should be back in action tonight. I have scraped some Franken Bolts to it's neck while I work on the new Unity based viewer.
If you have some preferences and want to see a particular game, lmk and I will try to accommodate. The new viewer will be much easier to use/customize in this regard.

We didn't return from dinner until 7:30 so last evening so the viewer, or the streaming software did not launch automatically as it should have. I will review today.

We took a friend out for dinner last night who recently lost his wife very unexpectedly and we didn't get back home until after 7:30 again. Tonight, we plan on staying in so I will be around to review if the viewer doesn't launch as expected.
I believe the Pioneer/Met game will be the one that the viewer launches automatically tonight so I will make sure the streaming software and game viewer software both kick off as expected. I wont be able to stay past game launch tonight.

In other league news, Stamped forward Matthew Tkachuk's suspension has been auto-appealed and lowered from two games to one game for Suffolk's next round.
The league office has been keeping both Eric and Baltimore appraised of this process.

OK boys, there is one last golden ticket left to be unwrapped this Wednesday night in the PoW conference final. Pittsburgh will host Colorado at 7:05 PM EST in game 7 on the league Twitch Channel.
Immediately following the game, attendees are invited to stick around for a half hour ask the Commish session. The plan is to record these sessions and place them on the league You Tube page after they have completed.
This initial session may be pushed back until I have had an opportunity to test the inclusion of Discord audio and video in the streaming software we use (OBS). I am hoping to get that tested within the next 48 hours and will post here once testing has been successfully completed.
