Below is the anticipated Off Season Order of Business. I will update this post/thread as the date for each activity clarifies. Draft Testing Draft Drafted players assigned (most as [prospects) Lineups updated RFA Phase Decisions made on unbid on RFA's (resign or let go to UFA) UFA 1 per year extensions made Minor League Decisions (keep/release) End of Buyouts (Need to complete prior to UFA starting) UFA Phase Contract Determinations LTIR Open Puck drop Here is a link to the 23-24 Card discussion thread: gtgfhl.proboards.com/thread/6459/23-24-card-creationThe new cards have for the most part been created and I am working through the steps of matching contracts up to them. I hope to have that step completed by this weekend. |

I'm assuming the next distribution of franchise points will still occur sometime prior to UFA? Good call. Resigning a player with F points / knowing if you have enough is pretty important to know well before the draft even. |

I agree with Phil...It would be nice to see who is still on our rosters, what holes we have, and who's going to be available on other's rosters to possibly fill those holes...which was the case until rosters were wiped.

There is an embargo on trades until I have a level of comfort with the aforementioned player assignment steps (which are nearing completion).
Franchise points should be calculated, posted and applied within the next week or two. This along with the fleshing out of the draft order for the upcoming draft as well.
I should be able to post a list of missing players who are under contract by team. I am tinkering with some ways to show teams their current lineups (without the cards 23-24 ratings) to assist in GM decisions on needs/wants.
We are ahead of the curve on off season events but the new testing environment (that I still owe a bigger post on for those that weren't at Game 7 of the GHL final this year) means that they may come out later than usual pending how the testing goes.

Barring unforeseen issues, Player cards will be released next Saturday, 7/8 at Noon EST.
Thanks Scotty-NY for your assistance, as per usual, in doing the leg work in tracking down missing players still under contract and mulling over the goalie stats to get the raw data needed to calculate goalie fortitude ratings.
