I think there has been some confusion. This is not dealing with minor league contracts, that will be handled as it always has been and teams will have the option to retain by giving them 150% raises or releasing them. They have cards and are handled in a different manner than players without cards for various reasons. Also, a new thread should have probably been started for that purpose as this is the waiver thread which is also seperate from both of the aforementioned groups of players.

Correct Scott. Maybe the thread title was misleading. This should be the one-per-team waiver posted here.
Not sure where and when all the other player stuff goes - overseas, no cardz, ect.

Trotter, Brock - Release Staios, Steve - Release Bergfors, Niclas - Release Dan, I already had performed the 1 waiver you are allowed on retired players/UFAs in real life with Hollstrom as per your trade with Chris. Staios contract has to be swallowed or you can trade his rights to someone who has a free waiver action and work out some sort of deal. Glenn

None, some minor league contracted players were being posted here, at least one manager already deleted his post after I pointed it out.

The New York Americans have announced that they will be waiving Arron Asham.
$1.23975/.95 = 1.305 1.305/.9 = 1.45 1.45-1.23975 = .21025 .21025 x 2 = .4205
I was not sure on waiving a guy who has already gone through free agency if we were to use the bid price (1.45), which I have used above or the re-signing price (1.305). If it was supposed to be the re-signing price, the waiver fee to NY would be $130,500 instead of $420,500 as posted above.

Suffolk is waiving Zenon Konopka.
