@ Moncton - Ramo actually did play last year in Finland but no matter, you can still drop him @ Hartford - Minor leaguers with cards will be decided on at a later date, after free agency correct me if Im wrong, but my understanding of did not play in our use of the term means did not compete et the NHL level.

If they play overseas you can drop them for free. If they are healthy and they don't play any hockey at all, you have to waive him or eat the cap hit. If they are injured all season you can drop them. If they play in the NHL or AHL, they'll have a card.

Did not play means did not play at all and you would have to buy out, as I stated, he played in Finland which gives you the ability to retain or drop, as you did, which is correct. Was just trying to make it easier on Glenn in stating that you did indeed have the ability to do the transaction as stated

So Legwand is in the no card section so is Moser ... I'm retaining Moser for 100k I can drop Legwand and pay a cap hit or retain him fir 100k if the later is the case I'll do that obviously it's much cheaper to do
