I was just looking for the timeline a few hours ago and could not find it.

Need a bookmark in there for FP points assigned.
Last year it was at a certain time but I think we need to nail it down, as it's effecting the UFA protection/ choice of the expansion draft.
It probably should be immediately at or very soon after seasons end. FPs earned should also not be held hostage by waiting for awards.

"Players with no card action" needs to be after the expansion draft for potential of these players to be selected by Oregon

I was thinking more if it's done prior and those players are gone from their roster (if they choose not to keep them for 100k), they wouldn't be available for selection and would disappear. I'm definitely with you on the protection part. If they wouldn't be gone from the roster, please disregard my post.

A team should only be required to make a decision on these players at this time if they intend to protect said player. That will also keep them showing on rosters so Brenden can see them as assets to each team.

Shouldn't UFA resign be after expansion as well. I want to resign Mrazek (if not taken) but I don't want to protect him. Do I get the 75FPs back if he's taken?

If you spend the 75 points on him and don't protect him he could be taken. And you wouldn't get the 75 points back. Your other option for him if you don't want to protect him is to bid on him in UFA and use some FPs to give you better odds of retaining him. |

Not really getting the no card action… does that mean we have to drop or keep by the 30th? I will be putting the thread out there soon for these options once I import the table that Chris did he research on for us. I don't see any reason we shouldn't be able to complete the task in a week or so once this thread is posted. |

Pay 100k and retain rights If Injured all year or in Europe (waive for free - since they have no card they aren't available as UFAs this year) If not Injured/Europe buy one out (since they have no card they aren't available as UFAs this year) |

Would I have that chance to select him or would he disappear until next off season when he has a card again? I’m fine with it either way. Just for my list it would be helpful knowing if they’d still be available or not. |

Seeing as Glenn is protecting Kucherov from his own list of "On Books - No Card" players I'd say the answer is yes.
