On another note, I am getting an error trying to open up the "Get the F outta here thread". Other threads will open but not that one. I am hoping it's not because it is a crime scene...

Same for me...cannot even hit the "recent posts" link to go there directly. Get error code as well.
Probably best just to delete the entire thread anyway.

As per the results of the analysis of the loss super stats review in the owners thread, the table for shot taking has been tweaked to rein in the shots on goal. The games tonight, and moving forward, will be using the revised table.

It seems the sportsforecaster has changed their way of handling the YTD goalie stats. I am off today and will be looking at getting that fixed this AM. This is also keeping the nightly stats from running as expected.

I thought that the sportforecaster site may not have the shutouts right as well when I followed Vasileskys link after his shutout last night and it was showing his season shutouts as 1. I thought he must have more than that but the NHL.com site was showing same. Which goalie(s) are you seeing where their shutout numbers aren't correct?
Oh, btw, the scraper program has been modified and the goalie stats should be working again.

Yup. You are nearly correct sir. Sportforecaster showing as 1, actual is 5 according to NHL.com today.

so odd that that website is so lame. Embarrassing how inaccurate it is. There has got to be a better place to pull and scrape from.

It looks like quanthockey would have what we need for stats but what would it entail to switch over our player cards?

It looks like quanthockey would have what we need for stats but what would it entail to switch over our player cards? Correct. Our player identifiers are all linked the the old hockey news/sports forecaster site.

Just thought I'd post a table showing how teams stack up when accounting for goal differentials, getting a look at some of the outliers and other things of note, i.e., realizing that whoever wins the Smythe Division is likely looking at a tough matchup with a good Baltimore team in the first round. Hopefully the actual post makes the picture bigger than it looks as I am writing now, but if not I'll be happy to add it again as a clickable attachment.
