For everyone's clarification, the Hershey waive was discussed on the league discord channel this AM as well. Here is my reply on there regarding timing.
He reached out to me via text yesterday, because in this case the player he is dropping is uncarded that doesn't impact UFA. I did verify that his waive wouldn't have made it impossible to bid 10.8M on Nylander as if it would his bid would have been null and void and the next highest bidder would have gotten him (Suffolk)
In regards to Halifax, when I logged on in the morning it said the post was made 11 hours before. Since it was around 7:30 AM I wasn't going to split hairs to determine if it was posted 15 minutes before or after the cutoff.
